I’m booking 30 minute bluebonnet mini- sessions on Saturday, April 7th. Session fee is $175 and includes a 30 minute session, online gallery and 5 high resolution images on CD with print release. this couple is so cool–not only do they have the sweetest family–but they own a business together that they are passionate about. Isn’t that nearly everyone’s dream? Paper so Pretty is their successful stationary design company. They’ve got a cute, cozy little workspace that includes a playroom so their kids can come to work with them–what a dream that is! The company has grown and their stationary can be found in stores all over the country!

he is 6 months old and full of smiles! seriously…we could have just kept shooting all day because he was loving it! i took his newborn pictures this summer and was shocked when mom called me about doing 6 month portraits–i feel like i’m living in an odd time warp–it’s just been going so fast!

hello sweet family! i have been very happy to photograph this family several times, including their most recent addition. baby girl did not want to sleep for the first part of our session so mom and I talked about cookie recipes among other things (I made them and they were so good!) while we waited for her to get sleepy.  It finally happened and we got some really sweet shots–thank you family for asking me to photograph baby A!

P.S. I also got to finally meet mom’s best friend who I’ve chatted with via email several times. It was a good morning!

hope everyone had a happy holiday! i’m officially making my new year’s resolution–start blogging more! i have sessions from the summer/fall to post–geez.

the kids would all be in town at the same time! with two away at college and one married and living abroad, it doesn’t happen that often. what a great time for a family portrait session!  these were taken around their neighborhood which makes it even more special–mom and dad like to take walks every day. i hope these remind them of good memories for a long, long time.

after a long hiatus, not from photography just blogging, i’m back! this is sweet little blake–isn’t she cute? this was from a few months ago–in fact, blake now has a cousin who i recently took newborn pictures of also. she was so perfect throughout the session and we got so many great images it was hard to pick just a few for the blog.

I’m getting requests for holiday sessions and have already booked most of October, I do have a few time left in November so shoot me an email (tynan@tynanphotography.com) if you’re interested. I’m planning on making the end of November the cutoff for holiday sessions and products!

On a side note, if you’re looking for a quick fun book–you MUST read ‘Bossypants’ by Tina Fey. It is so stinking hilarious. When was the last time you giggled out loud while reading a book? I like to read in bed and I  think it started to irritate my husband a few times, but I really couldn’t help it–it’s hilarious!

i’m still here! just enjoying the summer which means lots of time in the sun at the pool. my 5 year old  wants to swim every.single.day.  i know i haven’t been posting much recently–I really need to get caught up. with both of my boys home  i’ve been trying to be conscious of my time on the computer while still being sure to get all my processing/orders done. blog posts may just have to wait a while….hope you’re enjoying your summer!

I was so excited to shoot the birth of baby Elle! Her mom and I had discussed her due date several times so I was surprised when I got an urgent message from her almost 4 weeks early saying that Elle would be arriving via c-section the following morning. Of course, cameras weren’t allowed during the surgery, but I was still able to document this very special day. Don’t you wish birth photography was popular when we were born? What I wouldn’t do for pictures like this of my birthday!

oh how I love these pictures of my boys! Something about Jackson in the tree seems so storybook to me–love it!
