Janie and Jack

I’ve been asked to be the photographer at a promotional event at the Janie & Jack children’s clothing store in the Galleria. They are hosting a limited number of mini-portrait sessions in the store! Their clothes are adorable and would be perfect for your little one’s portrait. Call the store and book your session!

New Logo/Mommy Cards

February 12th, 2009 , Posted in Houston photographer, Kids

Yay! I am so excited that my new logo, splash page and blog header are here! Check them out at the top of this page and on the splash page of my site {www.tynanphotography.com}.  I was ready for a new look and  Lisa at Lisa Reichman Design (www.lisareichmandesign.com) did an awesome job! Let me know what you think of the new design.

Also, I wanted to show off a new product–Mommy Cards! The same size as a business card, these are perfect to keep in your wallet to hand out when planning a playdate. Next time you meet a new mom you want to keep in touch with you can just give her your card!

I did it!

October 25th, 2008 , Posted in Houston photographer, Kids, Personal, just for fun

I recently got back from Louisville where I DID IT! I finished the Louisville half-marathon!

Around the 9th or 10th mile I did not think I would make it, but I did and it was so worth it. My son, husband and mom were waiting at the finish line with bottles of water and snacks! After the race I thought I had for sure injured myself because I could NOT MOVE for the next two days. All I can say is I have so much more respect for people that can run the full 26.2. woo-hoo!

While we were in town we got to take our son to a great private zoo in Prospect called Henry’s Ark. It’s a private farm that’s been opened to the public with over 100 animals that call it home. There’s no admission and many of the animals just wander free for families to feed and interact with. Days later my son was still asking to go feed the animals more carrots!

Sisters

September 6th, 2008 , Posted in Kids

Aren’t these two so super cute?  They are my my cousin’s daughters, Annabelle and Tynan (love the name :-)   They were so sweet to be my little models while we were in Jacksonville–I think I may have worn them out by their last day!

I just got back from Jacksonville, Fl. where I had a wonderful time seeing my family–the best part was watching our kids play together! Here the kids are having fun with lollipops in my aunt and uncle’s back yard. Check back soon because I have tons more pictures to post.

Brady and Laine–part 2

August 5th, 2008 , Posted in Kids, newborn, sneak peak

I got to go to Brady (1 mo.) and Laine’s (3 yrs.) house recently to do a shoot where they are most comfortable–HOME!  Their mom, Jessica, has their rooms decorated in the most adorable colors. I especially loved Laine’s pink and lime green color scheme.  I thought back to my childhood with it’s vanilla walls and was green with envy.

Hello Blog!

July 13th, 2008 , Posted in Kids, sneak peak

I have a brand new blog thanks to Theresa at www.blogsforphotogs.com. I am so excited about being able to post about all the happenings at Tynan Photography. Feel free to check back often to see what’s going on in my world!

Recently I photographed Maya–an adorable 2 year old who needed images for her pageant/modeling portfolio. We met early one Saturday morning and we were able to get some great shots for her pageant book.  Watch out Miss America!
